Robotics Fundraiser for World Championship
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to ERA Robotics for WINNING the Granite City Regional Championship over the weekend! 🏆 The team set the high score for the region's games, with their alliance (Alliance 1) getting double the amount of points the other alliances got in every match. The team was also awarded the tournament's Gracious Professional Award for helping other teams with code, borrowing out tools to other teams, and even helping another team fix their robot. 🏅 The ERA community is immensely proud of this hardworking team for these massive accomplishments and for demonstrating ERA's Pillars while in competition. We wish them luck as they move on to further competitions this season! #GoGryphons

Welcome to Quarter 4, Gryphons! Before spring break, sixth graders broadened their perspectives - and ours - on what it means to be mathematically smart. 🧠 Some answers were: "When I can perfectly draw geometric shapes," "When I understand the concepts taught in class," and "When I pay at the store." This quarter, we would like to invite all scholars to broaden their perspective on what it means to be "smart" in a subject. Does it mean completing your homework? Asking more questions? Listening in class? 📚 There are only eight more weeks of school - finish strong so you can feel proud of all you've accomplished this year! #GoGryphons

Quarter 4 won't begin until Tuesday, April 1, but there's still plenty to learn over Spring Break! Why not take a visit to the Bakken Museum, like School of Grammar fourth graders did early this year? While there, our fourth graders deepened their learning of science concepts about electricity, magnetism, scientists, and inventors (and had fun doing it!). ⚡ #GoGryphons

We’re proud of our National Honor Society (NHS) members for volunteering at Open Arms of Minnesota earlier this month! Open Arms of Minnesota is a local nonprofit that prepares and delivers medically appropriate meals for critically ill Minnesotans. During their busy two-hour shift, twelve NHS volunteers packed over 400 meals, bagged 240 protein packs, and chopped over 120 pounds of vegetables! Thank you, NHS students, for being great ambassadors of ERA and the CIPHER pillars. #GoGryphons
