The Eagle Eye: 8/29/2024
Happy Thursday! As a reminder, there is no school and the office will be closed Friday, August 30, and Monday, September 2 due to Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 3. The first Eagle Eye newsletter of 2024-25 is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s newsletter:
- September Food Service Menus Now Available. Each student in attendance will receive one reimbursable breakfast and one reimbursable lunch per day at no cost to the child. Download the September Breakfast Menu and September Lunch menu inside the issue.
- Board of Directors New Member Spotlight. The Eagle Ridge Academy Board of Directors have seated new members since the end of the last school year. Learn more about the 2024-25 Board officers and members and read a spotlight on Teacher Member Lisa Johnson inside the issue.
- Important Back-to-School Messages from School of Grammar Counselor Ms. King, School of Logic Principal Mr. Pelofske, and School of Rhetoric Principal Mrs. Johnson. Now that the school year has fully started, we’re ready to go back into the swing of things. To help your child have a successful school year, view messages from Eagle Ridge Academy administration and staff inside the issue.
- Register Now for the 12th Annual Gala for the Gryphons Prom: A Night to Remember. This year’s Gala for the Gryphons invites you to go back to your high school dance days and enjoy prom… as an adult! On Friday, November 22, join us at Hazeltine National Golf Club in a prom-inspired outfit for a social hour, plated dinner, Dessert Dash, silent and live auctions, and meaningful program, and then dance the night away with Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment. Find out more about this year’s Gala (and see the prom photos of six ERA staff members!) inside the issue.
