Happy Thursday! This week’s Eagle Eye newsletter is now available! The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:
- Upper School Play Wind in the Willows Performances Rescheduled for this Weekend. Join Mole, Rat, Badger, and Toad on their adventures (and misadventures) along the riverbank and out in the Wide World at one of Eagle Ridge Academy’s performances of Wind in the Willows this weekend. There will be a Saturday afternoon performance, as well as Sunday afternoon and evening performances. See more information inside the issue.
- Explore the New ERA Grades 7-12 Activities Website AND the New Online Spirit Wear Store. ERA’s new activities website is now live. This site will be the best resource for grades 7-12 activities and athletics registration and information. Additionally, shop the new ERA Spirit Wear Store – open online 24/7! - Congratulations to our November Pillar Award Recipients. The Schools of Logic & Rhetoric hold monthly Pillar Assemblies, in which six students from each grade level in the Schools of Logic and Rhetoric are recognized for displaying CIPHER throughout the month. View this month’s Pillar Award recipients inside the issue.
- Read School of Rhetoric Course Registration and College Scholarship Information from Academic and College Advisor Mrs. Kaiser. The 2023-34 Course Catalog and registration packets have been shared with all students in grades 8-11. Learn about the School of Rhetoric registration process and view the list of upcoming essay contest and scholarship application deadlines inside the issue.
- Consider a Year-End Gift to Friends of Eagle Ridge Academy (FERA). Through the generosity of those who supported us with a gift for the Gala and/or Give to the Max, our incredible community raised more than $58,600 this year to support Eagle Ridge Academy’s Grow Your Own Teacher and the New Teacher Mentoring Programs, and our ongoing scholarship program for our graduating seniors pursuing post-graduate studies.
