The art department and a handful of juniors and seniors see to the loading of a circular "pit" with a brick wall, in the parking lot by door 5. The pit is loaded with ceramics works and smothered with combustibles that we heat in a fire to obtain interesting colors and markings. Where: Eagle Ridge Academy

Every year, the Upper School art department puts together a pit firing for our ceramics unit.
