Eagle Ridge Academy presents “Jack & the Beanstalk”, a play written by Michele Vacca and directed by Ms. Michels!
Grades 2-6: Please submit your audition video before May 4 at 7:00 p.m. Selected cast will be contacted to register and pay a $100 online fee.
Rehearsals will be held May 25-28 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and performances will be held on May 29 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be $5 per person.
How to Submit Your Audition Video
Step 1: Find a computer, phone, or iPad that can record a short video and send an email. While recording, the student should look directly into the camera and say: “Hello, Ms. Michels! My name is _______ and I am in ___ grade. Today, I am auditioning for the Jack and the Beanstalk play. I want to be in the show, because ___________________________.”
**Note: I am looking for focused, fun people to play quirky characters! Show me your personality!
Step 2: Compose an email to smichels@eagleridgeacademy.org with the subject: “[Student’s Name] Audition”. In the email, include:
- Student’s Full Name
- Grade
- Guardian(s) Phone Number(s)
- Question #1: Will the student be able to attend all rehearsals and performances? Yes or no.
- Question #2: Does the student have any food allergies? Yes or no. If yes, please explain.
Step 3: Attach the audition video to the email and click SEND!
Step 4: Wait for Ms. Michels to contact YOU regarding a role in the play. Lots of students will audition. Not everyone is going to get a part. Be prepared to have to try again next year.
