Homecoming Week at ERA: Oct. 8-12

School of Grammar (Gr. K-5)
The PTO’s annual school carnival, Rockin’ the Ridge, kicks off events on Friday, Oct. 6 from 3:00-7:00 pm. See all details here.
The School of Grammar will participate in Spirit Days on Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct.12. On Wednesday, they will pair up with an Upper School grade for Class Color Day. Uniform bottoms should be worn with class colors. On Friday, students are invited to participate in Spirit Wear Day and can wear any combination of uniform and spirit wear items (no jeans).
Lower School students are also invited to attend the home Volleyball game on Monday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 pm, where they will be celebrated!
Class Colors:
- Juniors/5th: Blue
- Sophomore/4th:Green
- 12th/3rd: Black
- 9th/2nd: Orange
- 8th: Purple
- 7th/1st: Yellow
- 6th/K: Red
Schools of Logic & Rhetoric (Gr. 6-12)
There are five Spirit Days are occurring. Upper school students may wear jeans with spirit wear days if they make sense with the theme (i.e., class colors). Free Dress guidelines should be followed.
- Monday 10/8: “Get up and go,” comfy clothes and pajamas
- Tuesday 10/9: Tropical Tuesday
- Wednesday 10/10: Class Color Day
- Thursday 10/11: Throwback Thursday
- Friday 10/12: Flannel Friday/Spirit Wear Friday.
Be sure to join us for these events all week:
- Monday night: Home Volleyball Game at 5:30 pm, celebrating the Lower School Students
- Tuesday night: Cross country travels to Jordan & Soccer plays the Section playoff game. Find details on the school athletic calendar.
- Wednesday: Pep Fest at 2:30 pm. Volleyball plays at home at 4:30, 5:45 & 7:00 pm versus Hmong Academy.
- Thursday: Away JV volleyball tournament. Find details on the school athletic calendar.
- Friday: The Art Department will host its annual Pit Fire. The the School of Rhetoric Homecoming Dance and bonfire will take place (bus leaves at 5:00 pm). Tickets are available through Wednesday ($45/each). See details here.
- Saturday: There is the TCAC conference VB tournament at Hmong Prep. Find details on the school athletic calendar.
