Please join us for Grades 5-12 Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 5, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Curriculum Night is a parent-only event. In an effort to better serve our community, we are making significant changes to Upper School Curriculum Night. In a survey sent to parents, we collected their most requested information about how to better support their children. Parents can choose three of these “courses”:

School of Logic Courses

  • Studying and Test Taking Strategies for School of Logic
  • Homework—What to Expect and How to Help for School of Logic
  • Parent to School Partnership for School of Logic
  • Technology and Teens for the School of Logic
  • Behaviors and Bullying for School of Logic
  • Stress, Anxiety, and Supports for School of Logic
  • English Language, Interventions, and Supports for School of Logic
  • Socratic Seminar for School of Logic

School of Rhetoric Courses

  • Studying and Test Taking Strategies for School of Rhetoric
  • Homework—What to Expect and How to Help for School of Rhetoric
  • Parent to School Partnership for School of Rhetoric
  • Technology and Teens for the School of Rhetoric
  • Behaviors and Bullying for School of Rhetoric
  • Stress, Anxiety, and Supports for School of Rhetoric
  • College Timeline and Preparation for School of Rhetoric
  • Socratic Seminar for School of Rhetoric

From 5:00-5:25 p.m., parents will meet either with School of Logic Principal Michael Pelofske or School of Rhetoric Principal Erin Johnson. Following this time, they will have five minutes to get to their first session. The sessions will be 25 minutes each, with five minutes of passing time in between, ending at 7:00 p.m. Please note: this is not an evening to conference with the teacher regarding your child(ren). You may request a conference with teachers at any time, or attend the scheduled conferences in October.
