This is an end-of-season banquet for the Girls basketball team. Volunteers will run carnival-type games in the gymnasium and there will be a shooting contest, a meal, and a speech/awards ceremony by the basketball coach.
During the event:
- Volunteers will watch for compliance about masks and distancing.
- If the games have items that are reused (i.e. ping pong balls), they will be disinfected between uses.
- The person handing out prizes or prize tickets will wear gloves.
- During the presentation by the coach, people will sit with 6 feet of space between family groups.
- Basketball shooting games: the same safety protocols will be in place as in practice and games
Food and COVID safety:
- Food will be brought in and served by volunteers wearing gloves.
- Families will eat at the “family tables”.
- Clorox wipes will be provided for volunteers to wipe down tables and chairs after a family is finished at their table.
