The Annual Moving Up Ceremony commemorates the transition from the School of Grammar to the School of Logic. This year, Eagle Ridge Academy will hold Moving Up Ceremonies for both fourth and fifth graders as the School of Logic entry year shifted from sixth grade to fifth grade this year. Both ceremonies will be held outside on the soccer fields behind the school (or inside the Auditorium if the weather is bad) on Tuesday, June 4. The Fourth Grade Ceremony will take place 11:30 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. and the Fifth Grade Ceremony will take place 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Refreshments will follow the ceremony. Families are invited to attend and should bring a blanket or lawn chairs for sitting on the grass. Designated overflow parking is available across the street at Boston Scientific. After parking, families will walk around the school building to the ceremony and will not enter through the school office. Invitations containing helpful maps and other details were distributed to students and can be viewed here.
Important note regarding end-of-day pick-up: Students will return to their regular daily schedule following the celebration and should not be picked up early. Regular policies regarding excused and unexcused absences apply.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
