WHY: To have the most up to date college information
COST: Free
We would like all seniors (including PSEO students) to attend Eagle Ridge Academy’s Second Annual College Boot Camp on Monday, August 27 during regular school hours from 8:00 am – 3:10 pm, led by college expert, Beth Kreusch. Buses will be running since school begins that day for K-5. This is a mandatory session with invaluable information and activities which cannot be made up at a later date. Eagle Ridge Academy will cover the cost of this event and the PTO is generously funding pizza for lunch and snacks. *Please bring your own lunch if you have specific dietary needs.
Unlike last year, you do NOT need to wear school uniforms. Please dress comfortably, but appropriately, as the School of Grammar will be in session and some of you may be riding the buses with lower school students. A second perk separate from last year is you will be able to miss a day in the Spring in exchange for starting school on Monday instead of Tuesday. You will not need to report to school the day the juniors take the ACT (either April 2 or 23, TBD). You may use that time to visit college campuses or do a job shadow.
