As the calendar year 2018 comes to a close, we are already looking forward to the promise, excitement, and opportunities that the 2019-20 school year will bring. Throughout the rest of the quarter and semester, your 8th grader will be prepared academically and socially to move up from the School of Logic to the School of Rhetoric – but we know that you as parents need to prepare, too! We’re excited to offer two evenings this winter for you to see the big picture and get the details about Eagle Ridge Academy’s School of Rhetoric.
We hope you are able to join us on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. to learn more and ask your questions. Discussion topics include potential course offerings, schedule reconfiguration options, our growing athletic and activities programming, and a description of Naviance as a career and college readiness tool. You will also hear from both a current School of Rhetoric freshman and senior about their decisions to continue on in the School of Rhetoric and graduate as Gryphons.
A second 8th Grade Student/Parent night will take place on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 5:30 pm to cover advances of implementing what was discussed at the initial November meeting.
