Eagle Ridge Academy has been inspiring joy in learning, citizenship in action, and virtue in character since 2004. The Academy provides a tuition-free, Classical, college-preparatory, public school education to students in grades K-12.
Open Enrollment for 2025-26 has begun. Join us for an open house to learn what we’re all about! Our Enrollment Extravaganzas are an opportunity to hear from our teachers and current families, see the building, experience the curriculum, and ask questions.
Fall Enrollment Extravaganza
November 16, 2024 | 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Winter Enrollment Extravaganza
January 9, 2025 | 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Open Enrollment Application Information
The open enrollment application period for the 2025-2026 school year began October 1, 2024, and will run through January 15, 2025. The online application will allow you to select which school year (2024-2025 or 2025-2026) you are interested in applying for. Please note that enrollment is available to Minnesota students who will be at least five years of age by September 1 of their year of enrollment.
The enrollment application for 2024-2025 is still open here. There are currently openings for this school year in grades 9-12. Students in grades K-8 applying for this school year will be added to the waitlist. View the District Parent Letter: Ethnic and Racial Demographic Designation here.

Enrollment Lottery Information
A lottery will be held at Eagle Ridge Academy at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. All applications submitted during the open enrollment period (October 1, 2024 – January 15, 2025) will be included in this lottery. All applications received at or after 12:00 a.m. on. January 16, 2025, will not be included in the lottery. They will be added to the grade-level waitlist in the order that they are received.
If your child has been selected by the lottery:
- You will receive an enrollment email in early February with the information needed to enroll your child.
- You will have until February 11 to accept or decline the offered spot.
- Siblings of a selected child will be moved to the bottom of the sibling waitlist after the spot has been accepted and all enrollment paperwork has been submitted.
If your child receives a wait list number:
- Your child will remain on the grade-level waitlist until a spot comes available.
- As spots are declined, children on grade-level waitlists will move up accordingly. Open spots will continued to be filled after the school year begins in August.
