The Eagle Ridge Academy Board of Directors approves the academic calendar on an annual basis.  The calendar is usually approved at the end of January in order to provide the school and families enough time to plan ahead. Last year, the Board of Directors formed a task force to define parameters and decision making processes for the academic calendar, as there are usually many ideas that often compete with each other and the vision the Board of Directors.

The 2017-2018 school year was the first year that the academic calendar was built based upon the parameters from the Board.  The proposed calendar for the 2018-2019 school year closely resembles the 2017-2018 academic calendar and is in line with the Board parameters.

The Board of Directors will consider the 2018-2019 academic calendar on Jan. 23.  To date, they have reviewed and made minor changes to the proposed calendar at the October and November meetings.  The Board of Directors will review and consider ideas at the Dec. 14 and Jan. 9 meetings.  If you would like the Board to consider changes or ideas that are in line with their parameters, please email Jason Ulbrich at julbrich@eagleridgeacademy.org .
