Happy Thursday! The latest issue of The Eagle Eye is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:
- Message from Executive Director Jason About Upcoming Solar Eclipse. There will be a solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Minnesotans will have a partial view of the eclipse with a peak that begins at 2:02 p.m. and ends at 3:14 p.m. An eclipse can be a captivating astronomical event to witness. However, there are safety considerations and potential dangers associated with observing a solar eclipse. After serious consideration, Eagle Ridge Academy will take a cautious approach. - Thank You for Participating in Pillar Week 2024. Each year during Pillar Week, planned by the Upper School Student Senate, the ERA community is encouraged to recognize the six ERA Pillars (Citizenship, Integrity, Perseverance, Honor, Excellence, and Respect) and be intentional about putting them into action regularly. - Join Us at an Event this Month. April is jam-packed full of fun events for the whole family! The ERA PTO will hold their annual School Skate Night, the ERA Booster Club invites all to come out to Pack the Park and Pack the Theater, the ERA NHS has planned a Culture Event for the community, ERA Theater will perform the beloved play Pride and Prejudice, the School of Grammar will put on their annual Fine Arts Festival, and MORE this month! - ERA Teachers Attended National Symposium for Classical Education in Arizona Over Break. Each year, ERA sends a team of teachers to the national Classical education conference and, each year, teachers return moved by its Classical offerings. Learn what the focus of this year’s conference was and which sessions stood out the most to our teachers inside the issue.
