The Eagle Eye: 2/1/2024

Happy Thursday! The latest issue of The Eagle Eye is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:

  • February is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month. Eagle Ridge Academy students and families benefit every day from the leadership and vision of our School Board members. Want to join them in making a difference? One teacher seat and two parent/community member seats (one of which MUST be a community member) are open for the 2024 Board of Directors election. The deadline for all nominations is Friday, February 2, by 4:00 p.m. Learn more about the election and nominate yourself or someone else inside the issue.
  • Gryphon Conversation Will Be Held For Proposed Grades 3-5 Latin Change. The Curriculum Instruction Student Achievement (CISA) group in collaboration with the Latin department is researching and exploring curriculum changes to the grades 3-5 Latin program. Eagle Ridge Academy will hold a virtual Gryphon Conversation on February 7 to give parents the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the recommended change.   • Online Spring Spirit Wear Store Now Open. Fifty new spirit wear items are available to purchase online until February 12! Browse the new spirit wear and order today inside the issue.
  • Pack the Stands and Celebrate Winter Activities and Athletics Seniors Thursday, February 15. Show your school spirit, cheer on our Gryphon athletes, and recognize our winter activities and athletics seniors at Gryphon Senior Night. This double-header basketball game night against PACT Charter will have live entertainment, a 3-Point Shooting Contest, a Hot Meal Deal, and a recognition ceremony for the winter seniors!
