Dear Eagle Ridge Families,

Hello from Skyhawks School-Aged Care! Skyhawks is an afterschool program for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade. Skyhawks Sports MN partners with Eagle Ridge Academy in a shared vision to develop the whole student to be confident, healthy, and respectful individuals ready for all that life has to throw at them. Afterschool care is available at Eagle Ridge Academy for grades K-5 students for $18/day on regular school days (Monday-Friday, 3:20-6:00 p.m.) and $35/day on non-school days (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). Please read through this email in its entirety, as it outlines a few changes to the Skyhawks afterschool program, registration, and the platform being used.

During Skyhawks afterschool care, students will have the opportunity to eat a snack, work on homework, and participate in various activities and crafts. Additionally, we will promote physical health while carrying out our mission of teaching life skills through sports. Skyhawks aims to teach the basics of sports, while emphasizing life skills such as teamwork, respect, responsibility, and leadership. This will be carried out through daily sports and/or organized games.

Skyhawks afterschool programs require prepayment upon registering for the month, week, or day. Families will register for childcare via the Skyhawks website. Registration is now open for the month of August! Please note that our current website is moving to a more efficient and user-friendly platform! This system is customizable to our program and we would greatly appreciate your patience as we finalize a few minor details to ensure utmost efficiency when registering your child(ren). All families will need to create a new account, regardless of whether you were registered during the previous school year. Please read below on how to create and account & register for afterschool care.

Steps to Create An account:

  1. Click on this link and follow the prompts to create an account.
  2. If this link does not work, please visit www.skyhawks.com and click on the Search Fall on New Site banner on the top of the screen.
    1. From there you will be directed to our new platform. Click the Login button at the top right corner and then click on Register for an Account on the right side of the screen to create your account.

Steps to Register for Childcare:

  1. Click Find My Program at the top of the screen. This will bring you to a running list of all programs offered.
  2. On the left side of the screen, filter your search as follows:
    1. Enter 55343 in the zip code field.
    2. In the Sports field, scroll to the bottom and select After School/Extended Day Programs.
  3. You will see two offerings: Eagle Ridge Monthly and Eagle Ridge Weekly/Daily.
    1. There is no August monthly offering due to the shorted month.
  4. Select View Details on the Eagle Ridge Weekly/Daily offering and scroll to the bottom calendar.
  5. You have the option to register your child(ren) for the full week or for daily childcare. To add to cart, click on your listings of choice.
    1. A customer account is required prior to adding products to the cart.
  6. Moving forward, registration for the upcoming month will be available on the tenth day of the month prior. For example, September registration will be accessible on August 10.

This year, Skyhawks will be offering full-day programs on school-wide days off. This program will run from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will be listed on the registration calendar as a Non-School Day option. All-day programming will be unavailable during school breaks and all Federal holidays.
