The Logic and Rhetoric stages of a Classical education are a time when scholars begin to grapple with how virtue is part of who they are as members of a larger group. Scholars honor the work of their educators by being prepared and prompt for class, see their uniform as a resemblance of the seriousness of their studies, and engage in appropriate and respectful interactions; thus, reaping the rewards of their self-discipline in increased active and cognitive engagement. Such scholars know that virtue is trained to a pitch of excellence which will result in their best academic achievement, behavior, and attitude and ensure that they meet their highest potential. To this end, we are preparing for the upcoming academic year to be one of virtue development. The Schools of Logic and Rhetoric will be a place where all scholars will thrive in an academically rigorous, time-tested Classical, liberal arts education.
