The Eagle Eye: 3/10/2022

This week’s Eagle Eye newsletter is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:

  • Mock Trial Team A Places Third in State Tournament. ​Eagle Ridge Academy Mock Trial Team A won two of their three matches at the Mock Trial State Tournament last week and placed third overall in the state out of the sixteen teams competing. Read more about the team inside the issue.
  • Volunteers Needed for the 8th Annual Donut Dash 5K and 1/2 Mile Mini-Donut Dash. The Donut Dash 5K and 1/2 Mile Mini-Donut Dash on May 7 will start and finish at Eagle Ridge Academy. The Donut Dash team is looking for at least 50 volunteers for a variety of positions. Volunteers are welcome to choose as many spots as they want as the times vary and will receive a Donut Dash Volunteer T-shirt to wear the day of the event and keep as a thank you. Register for the Donut Dash and sign up to volunteer inside the issue.
  • Eagle Ridge Academy Board of Directors Nominations Due March 25. The Eagle Ridge Academy Board of Directors has issued a call for 2022 Board of Directors election nominations. Currently, the Board is made up of six teacher seats and five parent/community member seats. For the 2022 election, three teacher seats two parent/community member seats are open. The Board of Directors asks that you nominate yourself or other individuals with the competence and vision to provide skilled leadership for the Academy.   • Eagle Ridge Academy Library Looking for Book Donations. March is National Reading Month! In honor of this, please consider donating a book to the Eagle Ridge Academy library. Find a wish list of books inside the issue.
