The Eagle Eye: 1/28/2021

The latest issue of the Eagle Eye newsletter is ready to read! This year, the Eagle Eye is being published on Smore, a platform that allows newsletters to be translated into any language on Google Translate. We are hoping this allows important school information to be shared with even more of our families.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll find inside the newest issue:

  • The Learning Model Decision Making Matrix has been approved by the ERA Board of Directors. The matrix will assist ERA in determining the appropriate learning model for grades 6 through 12. It includes multiple data points and strongly weights ERA’s implementation of our safety protocols, as well as the presence and spread of COVID-19 within our building. ERA is hoping to welcome back Schools of Logic & Rhetoric students for in-person learning starting Feb. 15.
  • The next Family Counseling Session will take place on February 16. School of Grammar counselor Zac MacLean and Schools of Logic & Rhetoric counselor Jean Soule’s next session topic will be “Helping Children Deal with Transition.” All families are invited to join either the afternoon or evening session.
  • Register for Gryphon Youth Basketball by Feb. 3. Youth Basketball for grades 1-6 will run every Saturday morning from Feb. 20-March 27. Space is limited. Please register here.
  • The deadline to purchase your 2020-21 Yearbook is tomorrow. The Eagle Ridge Academy Lower School (K-5) Yearbook is available to purchase here. The Eagle Ridge Academy Upper School (6-12) Yearbook is available to purchase here. Students in grades K-5 are encouraged to submit fun photos for the yearbook that go along with different themes.

Read on for more, and have a wonderful rest of the week!
