The Eagle Eye: 1/14/2021

This first Eagle Eye newsletter of 2021 is ready to read! This year, the Eagle Eye is being published on Smore, a platform that allows newsletters to be translated into any language on Google Translate. We are hoping this allows important school information to be shared with even more of our families.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll find inside the newest issue:

  • Executive Director Jason Ulbrich has proposed an updated Learning Model Matrix to the ERA Board of Directors. The new model will assist ERA in determining the appropriate learning model for grades 6 through 12. The DRAFT model includes multiple data points and strongly weights ERA’s implementation of our safety protocols, as well as the presence and spread of COVID-19 within our building.
  • Gala for the Gryphons goes VIRTUAL with “A Night of MaskERAise!” We are  taking our largest fundraiser of the year online! Register today to join us on Friday, Feb 26, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Your registration will support the Playscape and Grounds Beautification project and will continue to support the ERA Scholarship Program for our graduating seniors. Please click here for more information, including a formal invitation and RSVP.
  • Congratulations to Spring 2020’s Olympus Club Members! Admittance into the Olympus Club appropriately reflects the endless hours these students have spent securing a 2019-20 second semester grade point average of at least 3.33, along with embodying the CIPHER pillars on a daily basis. See the full list of new members inside.
  • Please Complete a Short Survey if You Would Like TEL Services to Resume. Will you require TEL services once ERA switches from distance learning to in-person learning? Please fill out this survey by Jan. 22 so that we can evaluate the needs of our families.

Read on for more, and have a wonderful rest of the week!
